Empowerment Brunch and Graduation

Research has shown that exposure to high-performing female role models can increase girls’ sense of belonging, reduce self-doubt, and motivate them to aspire to similar roles. It is my hope that, through Pretty in Pink Empowerment Academy for Girls, they will accomplish these goals and become confident young women who will make an impact in our society.

I am Dr. Shaunte’ McFarland, founder of Pretty in Pink (PIP), Empowerment Academy for Girls. PIP provides quality, unique opportunities to engage girls in positive programming and mentorship. It is a powerfully, impactful experience and May 6, 2017 we plan to close out our program year with “Reflections of Empowering Ensamples”. We will be honoring 10 dynamic women whose powerful, personal contributions have blazed the trails for young women worldwide.

Please join us as we bestow our highest honor to the “Empowering Ensamples” in our midst.

Attire: Semi-Formal
